Cool video. I liked the switch from 6/8 to 4/4...and just as he was starting to really feel it and raise a song...the video ended...AARRRGGHHH! I wanted to hear more of the song!

Dialolo

some bwaba style playing from northwestern burkina faso by the group dialolo




the leader, lassina dembele, plays ngoni and sings lead vocals. his brother, mamadou dembele plays djembe, bara and tambin (fula flute). here's an example of that:

bwaba are an ethnic group from western burkina faso. they are often mistakenly called bobo oule (red bobo) by the bambara. there is only one true bobo tribe which is the one the bambara call bobo fing (black bobo).
