Help to Fadouba Oularé

Postby guedom » Thu Nov 26, 2009 11:52 am

--(ENGLISH VERSION BELOW)--

Cordialement
Jérôme Aglibert

----------------------------------ENGLISH VERSION---------------------------------------

Hi to everyone,

you were part of the public or of the organisation of both "The right man at the right place" or "Fadouba Oularé European Tour 2009".

As such, I come towards you with a very concrete and very urgent request.

Fadouba Oularé was allowed in the hopital of Faranah one fortnight ago, then in Conakry a little more than a week ago.

His health is very worrisome, and it is difficult, in the seen in particular of the current situation in Guinea, to have this day a precise diagnosis. Further to an accident vasculo intellectual, he stayed about days in the coma, and just brought out there.

Fadouba needs some treatments (in particular drips allowing him to feed himself) which are not free in Conakry.
Some money was sent by François for the transfer from Faranah to Conakry (200€), a new sending left yesterday on behalf of Philippe (300€), but it seems right now certain that we shall have to pursue the sendings to accompany the cure of Fadouba.

Furthermore, in view of the situation in Guinea, the members of the family Oularé can only work very very rarely to earn the keep (the marriages and the other celebrations which can not take place in the current context of civil war). A part of the donations would also allow to help them to cross this very difficult moment.

From a practical point of view:
- Studio Shaiprod cannot collect funds to send them, no invoice which can be emitted for the transfers of private funds.
- We take up at present an association with François Pradelle to allow to make the musicians come in Europe of such sort that they can work and return some money to Guinea to meet the needs of theirs.

- For the sendings:
** You can pass by François Pradelle who will group together funds and will send them to Moussa Oularé
François Pradelle: 00 33 ( 0 ) 6 61 81 57 54 or by e-mail palapoula@hotmail.fr
or by me Jérôme Aglibert: 00 33 ( 0 ) 6 08 71 40 16 or voyajai@free.fr
** you can call directly Moussa Oularé and validate with him the modalities of the transfer via Money Transfert:
Moussa Oularé: 00 224 64 30 18 38
Mohamed Oularé: 00 224 66 31 36 97

Besides, we think, with the association, of republishing the T-shirts of the Tour for sales and then send profits to Guinea to the family Oularé. This would allow to send regularly some money to Guinnea where the situation risks not to settle at once.
PLEASE INDICATE TO US BY RETURN OF E-MAIL IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS ACTION.

I thank you for the carried attention on the reading of this e-mail and remain at your disposal for any further information.
Best regards.
Jérôme

Hi Guedom,
thanks for giving us this information. It's terrible news but we can do something about it to save this great djembe master.
I'm gonna send some cash. He deserves it.
I'd encourage others to try give something. I think Fadouba has a lot to offer us in the future and has given so much to his people and culture all his life. He is the spirit of Farannah.

By the way is the dvd of his life story for sale? I didn't see it around yet.
that would make some more cash for him and family
keep up the good work

Hi the kid. The info was sent to all people who did possible the workshop in his european tour also to many others...

About the documentary "The right man at the right place" I think could be the "right moment" to release it... at the moment look that only has the idea to resell the t-shirts of his tour.

The people that were in his once spanish workshop, we are looking for send money to François Pradelle all in one.

Yes is sad know this new, Fadouba is a great man and now we can help him like he helped to many people to know better his culture.
