Just got in a shipment from Mali... Never seen a krin this big before. It's 37" long, and probably weighs 40lbs. Sounds great! Solid Khadi - not been cut in half and gutted like a lot of krins I've seen lately.

could you show us some sound samples of it? it has three holes or four?
and two of them are identical in size and shape? or maybe there are two symetrical pairs?

Yeah I'd love to hear what it sounds like. The really good ones are actually melodic. Mine is tuned to an inverted C chord so I presume it was tuned to a balafon. I bet this sounds deep and rich and beautiful. I'm very envious
