With various discussions going on here about notation and definition of terms and what not, I thought it might be interesting to post this:

If you hang on till the 1:00 mark, you will see and hear some very complicated rhythmic material.

I will warn you though, this is a bit of an aquired taste. VERY modern. As it happens I am a huge fan of Mr. Carter (going to be 104 years of age this year, and still composing!)

Reminds me of the first time I tasted alcohol. It's definitely not obviously catchy at first listen, but maybe it will grow on me. What's most impressive is that this fellow (or other modern composers) can contain this structure. I certainly hope that I'm active at 104.
