i have never been able to download files off this forum on my mobile (samsung galaxy s4). any time i try it says 'failed'. i suspect it might be because phpbb doesn't put the filename in the link so it's fooling the browser. anyone else having better luck and has some hints (don't tell me to buy a new phone).

All I can report is that it works for me on my iPhone (for an mp3 file). I'm sorry, but I don't have an Android phone around at the moment. When you say "files", I take it you mean mp3's, or something else?

PS: I seem to remember that this didn't work on my iPhone a year or two ago (not totally sure). Any other volunteers for testing or with experience reports?
